IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Door of Favor Theological Seminary reserves the right to modify tuition, fees, academic policies, academic calendars, and program requirements as necessary.

Students must remain current on all financial obligations to maintain active enrollment status, access academic records, participate in graduation exercises, and receive official transcripts or degree conferral.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

DOFS currently offers three tuition payment options.

No monthly payment plans, extended financing arrangements, or customized payment schedules are available at this time.

PLAN A – PAY IN FULL (BEST VALUE)

Students who pay tuition in full prior to the start of their program receive a 5% tuition reduction.

PLAN C – TWO-PART SEMESTER PAYMENT PLAN

Students may divide the tuition for EACH semester into two equal payments.

Payment 1 is due before classes begin.

Payment 2 is due 30 days after the semester begins.

The amounts below apply to EACH semester and repeat for the total number of semesters in the program.

SPOUSAL TUITION BENEFIT PROGRAM

Door of Favor Theological Seminary recognizes the value of husbands and wives growing together in ministry, leadership, and theological education.

The Spousal Tuition Benefit Program is designed to encourage married couples to pursue theological education together while maintaining the academic and financial integrity of the Seminary.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Spousal Tuition Benefit Program:

  • Both spouses must be legally married.
  • Both spouses must be formally admitted to the Seminary.
  • Both spouses must remain actively enrolled throughout the period in which the benefit is applied.
  • The second spouse must enroll within thirty (30) days of the first spouse’s enrollment date.
  • Both spouses must maintain satisfactory academic progress and financial standing.

For purposes of this policy, “actively enrolled” means the student is registered for courses, participating in academic activities, and remains financially current with the Seminary.

Tuition Benefit

The spouse enrolled in the lower-level academic program, or the same academic level program, may receive a 10% reduction on tuition only.

The spouse enrolled in the higher-level academic program shall pay the regular published tuition rate.

The tuition benefit becomes effective beginning with the semester in which both spouses are enrolled and all eligibility requirements have been satisfied.

Exclusions

The Spousal Tuition Benefit applies to tuition only and does not apply to:

  • Registration Fees
  • Enrollment Fees
  • Transcript Evaluation Fees
  • Technology Fees
  • Course Materials Fees
  • Graduation Fees
  • Prior Learning Assessment Fees
  • Bible Knowledge Equivalency Examination Fees
  • Thesis Fees
  • Dissertation Fees
  • Degree Frame Fees
  • Reinstatement Fees
  • Administrative Fees
  • Any other institutional fees

This benefit does not apply to:

  • Certificate Programs
  • Continuing Education Programs
  • Special Training Programs
  • Workshops
  • Conferences
  • Honorary Degree Programs

Combination of Discounts

The Spousal Tuition Benefit may not be combined with any other tuition discount, scholarship, promotional offer, or special pricing unless specifically approved by the Seminary Administration.

Withdrawal or Change of Status

If the tuition-discounted spouse withdraws from the Seminary, the benefit shall terminate immediately.

If the tuition-paying spouse withdraws, the discounted spouse may continue enrollment but shall become responsible for the regular tuition rate beginning with the next semester.

The Seminary reserves the right to discontinue the benefit if eligibility requirements are no longer satisfied.

Tuition benefits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

TUITION PAYMENT POLICY

Students are responsible for selecting one of the payment options published in the Seminary’s current Tuition and Fee Schedule.

Enrollment is considered complete only after:

  • Admission approval has been granted;
  • Required enrollment documentation has been received;
  • Required tuition payments and applicable fees have been paid.

Students are expected to remain current on all financial obligations throughout their program of study.

Failure to satisfy financial obligations may result in:

  • Administrative Holds
  • Delayed Course Access
  • Registration Restrictions
  • Transcript Restrictions
  • Graduation Restrictions
  • Suspension of Enrollment Privileges

Students experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office before payment deadlines to discuss available options.

The Seminary reserves the right to administratively withdraw students who fail to maintain academic participation or financial obligations in accordance with Seminary policies.

For the convenience of our students, payments may be submitted through the Seminary’s secure payment systems.

Students requiring assistance with enrollment payments, tuition payments, billing inquiries, account balances, or payment processing should contact the Admissions Office.

All payments are processed through authorized and secure payment channels.

REFUND POLICY

Door of Favor Theological Seminary is committed to maintaining fair, transparent, and professionally administered financial policies.

Students may withdraw from a program at any time by submitting written notice to the Seminary.

Course Delivery and Academic Access

Students typically receive course materials, learning resources, assignments, and academic access within forty-eight (48) hours of enrollment and receipt of the required initial payment.

Upon issuance of course materials, learning resources, course assignments, academic credentials, or access to Seminary systems, educational services shall be considered to have commenced.

Official Withdrawal Date

The official withdrawal date shall be the date on which written notification of withdrawal is received by the Seminary.

Verbal notifications, non-attendance, or failure to participate in coursework do not constitute official withdrawal.

Refund Eligibility

Tuition refund eligibility shall be determined in accordance with the Seminary’s official Tuition Refund Schedule as published in the current Student Handbook and Enrollment Agreement.

Any applicable refund shall be calculated based upon:

  • The student’s official withdrawal date;
  • The Seminary’s published refund schedule;
  • The student’s financial standing at the time of withdrawal.

Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered:

  • Registration Fees
  • Enrollment Fees
  • Transcript Evaluation Fees
  • Technology Fees
  • Course Materials Fees
  • Prior Learning Assessment Fees
  • Bible Knowledge Equivalency Examination Fees

Withdrawal from a Program

Students who withdraw remain responsible for any financial obligations incurred prior to withdrawal as outlined in the Student Handbook, Enrollment Agreement, Tuition Schedule, and applicable Seminary policies.

Certificate, Diploma, and Degree Conferral

All academic requirements and financial obligations must be satisfied before:

  • Certificates are issued;
  • Diplomas are awarded;
  • Degrees are conferred;
  • Official transcripts are released.

In the event of any discrepancy between website content, promotional materials, advertisements, social media content, or official Seminary publications, the current Student Handbook, Enrollment Agreement, Academic Catalog, and Tuition & Fee Schedule shall govern.

The Seminary reserves the right to amend tuition, fees, refund schedules, academic policies, procedures, and institutional requirements in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional needs.
